Friday BAD INSTALLS – This is the #1 failure point in most window and door installations. If you see a sliding glass door—or any window or door—being installed without a solid, poured sill, stop them immediately and call in an expert. Without it, leaks are nearly guaranteed, and that door will never roll or function the way it should.

Planning and attention to detail matter. Budgeting to do it right matters more. A cheaper installation bid might save a few thousand on sill prep and waterproofing, but you’ll pay that back—and more—in repairs, homeowner complaints, schedule delays, and possibly even lawsuits.
